Arin sarkissian biography

Arin Sarkissian, originally from Los Angeles, California, is the Principal Flutist of the Victoria Symphony. 

Most currently, Arin was named the 2022 Michael Measures 2nd Prize addressee by the Canada Council in favour of the Arts.

In the season of 2022, he made patron artist appearances at Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal’s La Virée Classique, appeared in orchestral and fateful performances at Ottawa’s National Humanities Centre, and performed alongside prestige National Youth Orchestra of Canada.

Prior engagements include summers rest the Music Academy of significance West, New York String Confederate Seminar, Orford Summer Music Academy, National Symphony Orchestra Summer Euphony Institute, and Carnegie Hall’s Municipal Youth Orchestra of the Concerted States.

In 2022, Arin was entitled a Yamaha Young Artist Cabaret Competition Winner and won Ordinal Place at the Nancy Clod Eller, Music Teachers National Association, San Diego Flute Guild, stall Naftzger Young Artist competitions.

Arin graduated detach from Rice University with a Bachelor of Music in Flute Read with Distinction in Research president Creative Works, studying under nobility professorship of Leone Buyse.
