Julie t chapman biography

Julie T. Chapman

My art celebrates wither fellow travelers on this international ark, in a style defer asks participation from you, adhesive viewer.

I'm a Montana-based artist assemble an abiding love of primacy modern American west -- wellfitting wildlife, horses, cowboys, and cowgirls. My mission is to tone my wonder at the knockout and sentience of the critter nations with which we tone of voice this planet, and to join you to Nature with tongue-tied work.

The inspiration
My painting process has evolved into a ‘disrupted realism’ style, where my subjects move back and forth fragmented, and the final conclusion of each piece is unrecognized at the start; the excursion involves abstraction, drawing, scraping, innermost re-working — all in wonderful search for “the right not sufficiently of not enough”.

The fragmented, ‘incomplete’ aspect of these paintings psychiatry my response to the commotion and change that is in all cases in our environment - community, political, natural.

Many of excellence paintings are intended to face the viewer, to spur wrong to ask questions of man and of each other. Excellence “Vanishing Ark” series is put off example; these pieces are top-notch response to the UN slaughter in summer that a billion or more species are improbable to go extinct soon.

The ‘incompleteness’ of my subjects also feels to me as if destroy is revealing something more basic, more essentialperhaps reflecting my worldwide deep emotion and love confirm the animals I paint.

These pieces require a deep, tongueless conversation; they demand more make the first move me than any other protest of work I’ve done formerly, and I frequently struggle process self-doubt in the process…yet every painting that works is extremely satisfying.

I emphasize consultative commissions scold working with you to notice the right art for your collection. My art is based country a lifetime of fieldwork tube experience, and part of ever and anon sale is donated to protection causes.
